About Steve Amoils
Steve Amoils, MD, is a recognized medical professional with a vast understanding
of various integrative medical practices and techniques. A graduate of the
University of Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr.
Amoils became interested in the study of integrative medicine early in his
career. Throughout his time at the University, Steve Amoils, MD, researched a
variety of topics, including naturopathic medicine, osteopathy, and traditional
African medicine. With each new experience, his interest and desire to expand
his skill set grew. Upon graduation, Steve Amoils, MD, set out to act on these
impulses and study with some of the world's most recognized acupuncturists, and
healers. His professional and scholastic pursuits took him to Japan, London, and
California, where he studied pain and spinal injuries at the Walker
Institute.
After completing hisFamily Medicine residency, Steve Amoils,
MD, started a family medical practice of his own in Loveland, Ohio. He
maintained the day-to-day operations of his practice for almost nine years
before founding and becoming Co-Director of the Alliance Institute for
Integrative Medicine in 1999. The Alliance Institute for Integrative Medicine is
consistently rated among the top alternative medical facilities in Ohio. Under
Dr. Amoils' direction, the Alliance Institute for Integrative Medicine offers a
variety of treatments, including functional medicine, chiropractic, acupuncture,
massage and energy healing, and the facility earned nomination as the Best
